Classic mode production and three-disc inclusion
Because the old PC98 hard drive failed and the conversion program did not work, Iwachui directly re-imported all classic mode tracks directly into the PC88.
The classic mode setup is limited by FM six-tone, PSG three-tone, and the built-in drum of the PC88. Yanchui found that using six FM parts simultaneously caused abnormalities, so he usually switched to five-tone processing and recreated the FM timbre; He believes that fewer voices also make the melody stand out.
After bringing the normal mode's tempo into the classic audio source, Iwatari found that some tracks sounded too slow to his ear. He attributed the differences to timbre and environments where reverberation space could not be constructed; most pieces maintained their original tempo to maintain distinctiveness, while a few made adjustments.
TWOFIVE explained that regular BGM, ending songs, and classic mode tracks cannot be loaded into two CDs, so the original soundtrack is compiled into three discs.
