Dance and vocal training
Philan studied dance at the Okinawa Actors School International Tokyo campus, and also studied the basics of lyric writing and composition in the vocal department of Muse Music Academy. After performing in musicals, she began her solo career in 2005 and joined S Corporation in May 2008.

In a 2014 conversation, Feilan and Minami Kuribayashi reviewed joint performances in Taiwan and Hong Kong, as well as domestic activities. Hiran also performed a duet with Kuribayashi on "Tsubasa wa Pleasure Line."

When writing the opening theme "Azure Light" for the 2011 "BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT EXTEND," Philan first studied KOTOKO's previous series of lyrics, striving to make the wording easy to understand. The company requested to join BLUE, and she came up with the rest of the expressions herself.
She once hesitated between her personal style and the game's worldview, ultimately putting the worldview before her lyric writing.
