Coups and Desertion
The future Transval Empire is coup orchestrated by an unknown fleet. Takter, stationed at the border, rescues Prince Shiva, who escaped from the White Moon, and joins five Angel Team girls in the battle to restore the empire. The ceremonial ship Elsior became the base of activity for everyone.
Dialogue and combat
The game consists of three parts: adventure dialogue, ship movement, and combat. Choices made during dialogue can alter the pilot's mood and trust, thereby affecting the Emblem Frame's combat performance; Internal patrols are used for communication and intelligence gathering.
Before battle, the mission objectives and the enemy and allies will be explained. Players select units to issue commands. In the Windows version, you can use the P or Pause keys to pause, schedule commands during pause, and then continue the battle.
Characters and hostile forces
Tucket leads the Angels to confront Ionia's coup forces, with fleet adjutant Lester assisting with military affairs. The White Moon and the Black Moon, which can mass-produce unmanned weapons, are at odds. The coup also involves a girl named Noah and lost technology.
Production and Edition
The official PS2 developer's message lists director Ryo Shumizuno, character designer Kanan, as well as Toshio Akashi and Shinobu Goto from Warship. The developers positioned the game as a space opera that emphasizes both characters and machinery, adopting a different narrative direction from the animated version.
The Windows limited edition includes a booklet and an original soundtrack; The Ultra Limited Edition also includes character merchandise, and the CD and booklet contain the same content as the Limited Edition. Following the first work, it was followed by "Moonlit Lover" and "Eternal Lover," forming the original trilogy.
