Friends and shared illusions
The story continues the mystery unfolded by a friend's funeral. A child named MAMIYA enters the lives of different people, becoming objects they rely on, which also changes their circumstances. Faced with these existences that both offer comfort and distort reality, the goal shifts from understanding each person's experiences to intervening in the story and changing the original ending.
The grouping structure of Part Three
This chapter continues from the previous two parts. The Doomsday Side features the story of Haruki and Minato, while the Daydreams Side features the story of Ryou and Keito; After the two groups are unfolded, they lead to the Doomsday Dreams section of the same name. The chapter returns to the same characters, but after learning about the previous part, readers reconsider their choices.
Branching and narrative style
Player choices affect the outcome of interfering in friends' lives. The third part has 16 endings, each set in the story of different characters; Chapter titles, letters, and recurring scenes are also clues to understanding the connections between the previous and the future. The Steam version was released in November 2023 by Fruitbat Factory, offered as additional content requiring the base game. Complete Collection includes the main body together with this chapter; The store introduces more than twenty endings and over one hundred eighty illustrations, making it a complete collection. This chapter supports Windows and macOS, with the store listing Japanese, English, Chinese Simplified, and Traditional Chinese text.
People and their own illusions
Kikuchi meets a boy wearing a rabbit mask, Minato Tojo meets a boy wearing a gas mask, Haruki Morichika sees a nurse-uniformed girl, and Keito Suo meets a being who claims to be invisible. Also called Mamiya, the appearance of the subject is different from the appearance.
Complete ported sound with additional story
The Switch version released on June 25, 2026, includes three stories with full voice acting, added illustrations, and a mini-game where you can obtain an IF story. Kokoro Ten was responsible for planning, scripting, and visuals for the original work, and participated in the recording supervision; Yuki Kaji himself and the voice synthesized character Soyogi Bon are credited separately in the cast list.
The release of the PC final chapter
DoomsDayDreams was released on Steam on November 21, 2023, as additional content requiring the MAMIYA console, developed by Kenkou Land and published by Fruitbat Factory. It offers Japanese, English, Simplified, and Traditional Chinese texts; The 2026 Switch port will include all three stories together and add full Japanese dubbing.
