IMEHA and Hawaiian guitar duet
In 2002, Yasuhisa Murase, together with Omota Niseiji and Noboru Matsumoto, arranged music for Hawaii Island Video, forming Image of Hawaii, which consists of two slack-key guitars and one nylon-stringed guitar.
The group changed their name to IMEHA in 2003 and made their mainstream debut through Yamaha Music Communications. Their music features Hawaiian slack-key tuning and a three-guitar ensemble, with original compositions as the main theme.
