AngelRing's lively planning and route collaboration

Looking back, AngelRing shifted to lighthearted comedies after her previous heavy works; To enhance the comedic performance, Sakuta Onoue was invited to participate in the script. He incorporated the angel of love into the story structure, allowing other main characters to appear within the single female lead route, avoiding the possibility of only one female lead participating after entering the route.

Planning atmosphere and commissioned in-house original artwork

Hotaru Koizumi demanded that AngelRing's lightness be presented simultaneously in the story, characters, direction, and visuals, and entrusted the main key animation work to in-house trained artists.

Coloring experience transferred to key animation work

Previously, Yamakaze Arashi was responsible for CG, showing Junhotaru Ren his own drafts and hoping to try designing characters, which led to the opportunity to work on original artwork for AngelRing. In interviews during development, he explained that at the time, rough drafts were used for the paper to finish with cat-painted numbers; The original storyboard also required him to try compositions he was unfamiliar with.

Quality adjustments before line art handover

Looking back at Nao Ayaki, when drawing independently, she can correct lines during coloring; After joining the MOONSTONE team, the line art must be handed over to the CG team, so he needs to adapt to completing high-quality line art first. He felt that the lines in digital drafts were too stiff, so AngelRing adopted a process of rough drafts on paper and digital drafts.

Job distribution and visual design for AngelRing

In an interview during the development of "AngelRing," Wu explained that Mika, Sumika, and Sana often appeared together in the story, so he was responsible for the scripts for this group of characters, and the key animation was assigned according to the same group. The co-location structure between characters serves as the basis for dividing the roles of screenwriters and artists.

AngelRing's uniforms feature a more restrained design. Kure explained that previously, "Gift," "Clear," and "Majisuki" had used more distinctive uniforms consecutively, so this time they hope to change direction; Also, since the main female lead recently has mostly red hair, the team designed Mika to have blonde hair.

Message window that changes with the dialogue

In an interview during the development of "AngelRing," Wu explained that the team had the message window change shape according to the dialogue during the performance.

Music production for 'Majisuki'

In 2009, when MOONSTONE introduced the theme song CD "Promise ~Memories of the Moonlit Night~" for "Majisuki," they explained that during recording, they would record multiple times while giving detailed instructions, then select the best segments to stitch together. The music production manager's checklist records which recordings are used.

After the lead singer organizes the arrangements, they record the harmonies, repeatedly adjusting and combining them with the accompaniment to gradually complete the song.

When introducing the ending theme of 'Majisuki' titled 'Kiss Me Tonight', MOONSTONE said fishtone composed solely with synthesizers and did not use a computer, making revisions more difficult.
