Demonstration recording before voice selection
The production of "Crow Song" began with selecting vocals and using demonstration vocals. Maeda urgently needed demo materials for the song, but due to its high pitch, it was difficult to find a suitable candidate. The producers asked Aoi Tada to record reference vocals for future singer selection.
Auditions during singer selection
Marina looked back in 2024 and said that "Crow Song" was the theme song during the selection. The bright, high-pitched, and fast-paced style was different from her previous experience, and she felt unwell that day, making her think she hadn't passed; Later, I received a notification of acceptance.
A follow-up cover of She is Legend
She is Legend later covered "Crow Song." Konomi Suzuki recalled that she slightly modified her improvisational singing style to showcase her own vocal style, while Mae allowed the two to sing in her own way.
