A confession from the past
The Chinese protagonist, Meng Yuhao, attends a tenth anniversary reunion for his middle school graduation and discovers a confession letter left behind in a time capsule, while also learning that his father was in a car accident. Liu Shiyan told him about the rules of time travel and fate, giving him the chance to return to the past. Searching for the letter writer also becomes a process of reconnecting with former classmates.
Classmates and guides
Liu Shiyan once helped Meng Yuhao when he was young and later appeared multiple times at critical moments in time travel. Xia Xinmeng was his childhood friend; Han Ji-ae comes from a wealthy family but is not good at socializing; Xu Ailin, who loves literature, uses a cane due to an old injury. Art teacher Shen Xuejing is related to his later experience choosing art. The Chinese licensed version localizes some character names, and the translated names do not correspond literally to the Korean characters.
Investigation and branching
Players progress through location movement, investigation, conversation, and using items to advance the story, choosing paths and endings that lead to different characters. The 2014 for Kakao version clearly states the limit of four time jumps, requiring the protagonist to return to age 17 to find a way to change the future.
Original and Chinese versions
The Korean original was released for mobile phones in 2009. The Chinese version of Symbian, licensed by Dalian Yuheng, is divided into three parts: 'Meng Chapter,' 'Memory Chapter,' and 'Dream Festival.' These are the names for Chinese release splits and cannot be directly taken as three separate sequels.
Remastered and collector's edition
In 2014, the 'For Kakao' remake was released, adjusting the interface and background while retaining the original character illustrations. Subsequent Google Play Collectors Editions will focus on complete gameplay, listing 20 songs and 36 collectible event CGs; These numbers correspond to the version. The series also has a second installment, My Secret Love 2.
