Recording and singing preparation and live discussion
Before recording, Uesugi Mao played a game to think about how to make the performance look like a collaborative product, and prepared several singing styles to bring to the venue to proactively propose. Hitoshi Fujima respected her direction and offered alternative vocal style suggestions; She described the process as a joint performance of the performance.
Choosing between the recording version
A key short phrase in the chorus was recorded multiple times, and after comparing the recording versions, Frontwing staff preferred a slightly rougher but more emotionally expressive version. Uesugi believes this emphasis on emotion over precise choice aligns with the solo expression he hopes to try.
