Holy Grail War

Seven Masters and Seven Rider Servants battle for the Holy Grail that can grant wishes. Shirou Emiya, who only knows basic magic, unexpectedly forms a contract with Saber and gets caught up in a struggle very different from everyday life. He learned magic from his late adoptive father and harbored the desire to become a "partner of justice."

Main characters and routes

Saber is a servant who fights alongside Shirou, serious and dutiful. Rin Tohsaka inherits the magic family and signs a contract with Archer; Sakura Matou is a junior who has long been in contact with Shirou and often visits his home. The three main stories are Fate, centered on Saber; Unlimited Blade Works, centered on Rin; and Heaven's Feel, centered on Sakura.

PS2 version and subsequent versions

The original PC version had no character voice acting, but the PS2 version added voice acting. On June 18, 2009, a PlayStation 2 the Best version was also released, featuring packaging illustrations drawn by Takashi Takeuchi. The later PS Vitamin version and the 2024 REMASTERED version have their own production specifications; REMASTERED is based on the 2012 PS Vita version, featuring HD and multilingual versions.
