Urban legends and two investigators

The story uses strange rumors passed down by word of mouth as a common thread. The Police History Compilation Office handles cases that other departments find difficult to explain, while students from Narukami Academy investigate rumors through the Urban Legend Detective Bureau website. The two organizations meet while investigating the strange.

Police History Compilation Office

The compilation office is located on the fifth basement level of the Metropolitan Police Department and is known only to a few insiders. Junya Kazemi was originally in the First Investigation Division, but after transferring, he tried to preserve both scientific and supernatural explanations; Kogure Soichiro is physically strong and skilled in martial arts, but fears supernatural phenomena.

Different ways of interpreting it

Kamoizumi Kagome, who was proactively transferred, specializes in criminal profiling and hopes to change the department's attitude toward accepting supernatural explanations. Folklorist Mizuaki Kirisaki and forensic expert Hitomi Shikibu each offer different research perspectives; both were university friends.

Member of the Urban Legend Detective Agency

Takayasu Saiwo joined the investigation using his clairvoyant abilities, Minami Togashi coordinated the club, Taro Higurashi was skilled at disguise, and Sho Kamigasaki was the former president who still kept in touch with juniors. Saiwo gradually changed from being indifferent to his surroundings through his interactions with his companions.

Surrounding people

Yuka Mamiya, a university student at Sumino, wants to become a paranormal reporter and actively searches for clues on the scene. Saiwo's neighbor, Chinatsu Kuramochi also loves urban legends and hopes to enroll and join a club the following year; Sadao Hino, a former member of the Narushen Academy News Department, appears in this work as a neurosurgeon.

Ending credits

The Dream-Colored Monster's 'Un forget' is used in the ending credits of this work. Official records of band members also note that the special game set includes the song "Apathy Sounds Collection 蔵出" along with a message.
