From game bands to live music performances
In 2013, bamboo reviewed that OVERDRIVE had brought the bands from the game onto the real stage, recreating characters, instruments, and storyline scenarios, making the game band the actual performance image.
He once refused to squeeze a lengthy game story into a thirteen-episode TV show, but always wanted the band in the show to perform on stage. "KICK START GENERATION" later adopted an OVA format that did not tell a story and was entirely dedicated to live music.
Looking back at the singer's selection, Bamboo said he invited her because he liked the sound of yozuca*'s debut song; When choosing Mineko Yamamoto, they hope to use a soft guitar vocal to contrast with the brand's harder rock style.
Finally, the 3D stage design for the live broadcast
For the planned "OVERDRIVE LAST GIG on Web" on March 30 and 31, 2022, bamboo explained that the stage design placed the band and singers in a 3D space, using live personas and 3D model performers, combining the unique live streaming with the band's live performance.
