The formation of the three-person script system
In their 20th anniversary conversation, Hiroyuki Uchida and Taku Sakakibara recalled that the three-person script system, composed of Sakakibara, Uchida, and Hideaki Anzai, had already been formed during the development of 'Tsuki wa Hi wa Hi ni Sei ni'; 'Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na' was developed from the starting point with three people jointly participating.
Animal naming and the age groups of the world
In a conversation about 'FORTUNE ARTERIAL,' Hiroyuki Uchida explained that the rabbit 'Yukimaru' that Shiro cares for was named by him. He also mentioned that including characters of different age groups in the work helps broaden the story's world.
From mainstream to auxiliary support
During the 20th anniversary discussion, Uchida confirmed that during the periods of "Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na" and "FORTUNE ARTERIAL," the script team handled many of the event scenarios and realizations; Later, his involvement gradually shifted to support.
Hairstyle changes for the PS2 version
In a 2021 book interview, Hiroyuki Uchida recalled that when making the PS2 version of 'Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Brighter than dawning blue-', the team repeatedly discussed whether to change Midori's hairstyle in the original PC version. Taku Sakakibara explained that Midori eventually changed her hair from a short outward hair to a ponytail.
The follow-up to the grand campus vision
Looking back at FORTUNE ARTERIAL, Taku Sakakibara talked from the early planning proposals to the idea that Suzutsushima had once been envisioned in the Kobe area. Hiroyuki Uchida added that early on, he seemed to lean toward the concept of a massive campus, a direction later used in 'The Shepherd of the Great Library.'
