Identity and experience
During free activities, you can use step cards to explore and obtain materials, craft gifts, and communicate with companions. Academic activities improve grades, VR training in the training room earns BP; Scores, BP, and materials are used for skill growth and weapon development.
Free time, learning, and gifts
Free activities are divided into morning and afternoon sessions, including study, training, reading, and gift gathering periods; Weapon enhancement, skill development, and strategic material development do not advance time. The map shows the study partners with green icons and corresponding achievement items for the day; the partner list changes daily; Repeated study also helps you develop gift preferences and create keywords.
Finishing the same book twice results in a significant improvement in grades, while the effect of rereading after finishing decreases. After making gifts in the recreation room, they are handed directly to the chosen partner; Catering to their preferences can increase performance gains, but repeatedly giving gifts that have already been given will reduce effectiveness. The icon in the "Like/Dislike" section marks gifts already given; some recipes also require key items to explore.
Explore the team and bring back the cap
Exploration takes up a whole day and can only be set out in the morning; Takumi can carry up to three companions. Each time, one of the two move count cards dealt is chosen, with the card number randomly drawn. During free activities, exploration can be returned to the academy at any time. If all members' HP reaches zero, it will end and half of their items will be lost; Unlock checkpoints can serve as starting points for your next exploration.
You can bring back up to nine items per exploration; if you exceed the capacity, you must choose to discard them. Upon return, items convert into BP or materials based on card face. Companions' exploration skills increase the conversion multiplier of specified materials. Simple exploration eliminates movement and randomly obtaining materials, but does not activate companions' exploration skills.
Skill upgrades and repeated VR training
Skill max is Lv5: Lv2 and Lv4 increase VOLTAGE gain by 1.5x and 2x respectively; Lv3 increases movement or range, Lv5 usually increases attack power, and some skills are changed to enhance debuffs, armor, or healing values. Exclusive Actions for Enhanced Self-Driven Forces obtained through development do not support this upgrade.
VR training adds items as the story progresses, retaining developed and enhanced skills and strategic resources. For each designated training teammate, if you repeatedly challenge a cleared event, the BP gained will not decrease due to the duplicate.
