Transparent about her development process
Kewei Wan was responsible for planning and publishing "The Transparent Her and the Real Me," using real Shanghai locations as the backdrop of the city. After the PV was released in August 2024, development progressed to the demo and official release stages; The CP31 demo will also be synced to Steam in May 2025 for online players to experience.
The July 2025 development log lists art, script, audio, and performance as successive steps: in June, CG, character art, and cutscenes are completed; after the script is finished, audio and performance are produced. By the time of the September release announcement, the producers looked back at the work as a long-running production spanning about two years.
