Iwakura Residence in 1966

After the war, Japan's economy grew rapidly, but Ichiko struggled to find a stable life. After leaving her original job, she was hired by Shu Iwakura and moved to her residence in Nishinohara, Kita Ward, Tokyo. This place offers her a place to live and opportunities to learn painting, and also holds secrets surrounding the Iwakura family heir. Her closeness to Aria changes the lives of both of them, which were originally constrained by family and circumstances.

The four people in the mansion

Ichiko Kitagawa grew up in a welfare institution and worked at a construction company after graduating from junior high. Aria Iwakura is physically weak and studies at home for long periods; She is cold toward the newcomer Ichiko, unlike the other guests. Aria's father, Shu Iwakura, runs a trading company and dotes on his daughter. Sui Miyauchi manages both the family's Western restaurant and the Iwakura family's cooking, making her a reliable partner of similar age to the two girls.

Exploration and sketching from life

Players use the map to search for items on the first and second floors of the mansion, visit rooms, and draw the things Ichiko notices into sketchbooks. Drawings and investigations will supplement the secrets of the characters and mansions. Gameplay revolves around scene exploration, text selection, and drawing. The focus is on character emotions and suspenseful development, with no dedicated reasoning levels requiring players to deduce answers themselves.

Ending and side stories

The official FAQ lists nine endings and one Another End. The ending usually shows Ichiko in 1999, at age forty-nine, making the choices of the same summer correspond to different lives. Once conditions are met, a Side Story will also be unlocked, supplementing character experiences beyond the main storyline. The development team estimated that the full content recovery would take about fifteen hours.

Image, sound, and distribution

Concept art was handled by 100 years, with Fumi Nakata illustrating the game character art, event CGs, and insert screens; Music by Tsuyoshi Abo, planning and script by Afternoon Nemuru, directed by Eriko Mizuno. Except for narration and monologues, the game uses full voice acting. The Japanese Switch version was released on June 27, 2024; The Steam version released by PQube was released on August 14, 2025, offering English and Japanese text as well as Japanese voice acting.
