Setting out together
Li Mo hopes to restore his family's honor by searching for the dragon vein and rescue Ida during his journey. The two have different goals but collaborate due to exploration needs; This encounter became a memory Li Mo could never let go of in his later life.
Songs and relics remain
Asteroids brimming with power have become resources fiercely contested by all parties. Ida can hear and imitate their voices, using their songs to find hidden temples; Li Mo enters the interior to investigate and solve the mystery. Sailing, listening, and exploring ruins together reveal ancient legends.
Sailing with companions
Players select routes on the star map, manage ship supplies, and upgrade them. The companions and enemies you encounter along the way each have experiences connected to the history of the star region, so the journey is not only about searching for minerals but also about encountering social connections left by war.
Visuals and music
The painting combines hand-drawn illustrations and low-poly spaces to depict ruined sea routes, ruins, and settlements. The sound serves both storyline and environmental expression, while Triodust's music is released in a carefully selected original soundtrack format.
Release and Final Edition
According to the developer's release archives, the Windows and Mac versions were released on September 1, 2021. Later, Full Bloom Edition added character voice acting, including Chinese and Japanese voice acting; This subsequent version does not include performances that were provided in the first edition.
The original 2021 cave soundscape
Composer Triodust explained in a 2021 interview that the deep, sustained sound and ambient tracks of the cave exploration scenes were produced by sound designer Waves of Doppler (Chia-Wei Hsu); This is the division of sound in the scene.
2023 ancient instrument adaptation project
SIGONO invited YK to extend the original music and produce a twelve-track arrangement album titled "Ancient Voices," which was released on Steam on March 14, 2023.
This arrangement mainly features West African kora, tar drums, and a replica of the Tatsirilra, paired with male and female harmonies, and combines ancient instruments with digital sounds.
