Manyani received a list of character elements, world information, and character layout sketches drawn by Kazuki. The sketches combined height and body type differences to help her grasp the design direction for each character.

When designing the Dragon God sisters in "Song of Sowing," maniani preserved the distinctiveness of long eyebrows while avoiding overly long eyebrows that would affect their cuteness. Their eyebrows have different shapes: the older sister's brows are curled; The costumes were inspired by the soft feathered robe and women's Hanfu, matching the image of spring.

In "Song of Sowing," the Xia Kingdom includes the Owl Tribe and the Ella Tribe with different appearances. Maniani retains common elements in parts such as the shoulders, allowing both to represent the same nation. Otohime combined images of wrinkled gill sharks, anglerfish, and Joruri dolls, designing a disturbing appearance based on the deep-sea debut.

When Manani designed the autumn civet from 'Song of Sowing,' he drew wider horizontal outlines from tanuki figurines to express a broad and generous temperament. The Winter Cat's hood features a fluffy texture, and the neck features paw pads to soften the serious impression of a philosopher; The dog's coat color and pattern are inspired by the Husky.
