A month-long trip
Soma Tsuta set off with his camera and a motorcycle related to his late friend, going on a camping trip around Hokkaido for about four rounds. The encounters and scenery along the route became material for reporting. The story takes place from June to July, with the natural scenery of eastern, northern, and central Hokkaido as the main setting.
From moving to writing
The day's schedule consists of cycling, site surveys, and camping. Players choose directions at fork in the road, and upon arrival, use commands to investigate the environment and meet people. At night, they organize photos and experiences to write an article about participating in the "Heart's Light Exhibition." Choosing a trip also means different opportunities to encounter.
Real-life scenarios and reader feedback
The original uses about 3,000 on-site photos and presents around eighty accessible locations. Travelogues receive reviews and reader responses on the in-game website, which affects competition rankings. This online submission system is an in-game simulation mechanism, so there is no need to upload player articles to the internet in person.
