A job posting that can be read

Xingge originally studied painting in France, but after losing her family and wealth one after another, she fell into hardship. He unexpectedly discovers that he can read job postings written in "animal literature," so he sets out on a journey with the hope of finding a way out. For him, the destination initially felt more like a job opportunity than the already familiar magical world.

Heading toward the same shelter

Qilin and Fenrir possess the bloodline of magical creatures, yet struggle to adapt to the rapidly evolving modern society. After temporary shelters disappeared again, they began searching for places that could accommodate these beings. Xingka helps the siblings at the station, and their originally different difficulties converge, and the strangers gradually form friendships.

The town and the focus of the work

The legendary Horn of Abundance is home to animals from various mythologies. Through Kouka's interactions with these companions, the work discusses where they can still live, and how people and different beings can understand each other. The release notes clearly state: some routes include romance, but romance is not the only goal of the entire game. The Steam version is credited by Sous le Paulownia and "あまてる."

Lin, Hati, and life in a small town

The qilin belongs to the qilin category and has long lived in seclusion in the mountains; Hati is the giant wolf Fenrir, who brought Rin from Japan to the town and treats her as an older sister. Amar has long cared for the townspeople, teaching the newly arrived mysterious creatures to adapt to human society. Kouka can see the true forms of creatures that ordinary people cannot, thus getting closer to their lives.

Missing friends and a younger sister at home

Jack, a French man, was once a friend of Xingge in the shared apartment. They loved painting, but lost contact after he suddenly disappeared. Sachika, the younger sister who stayed in Japan, loves picture books, which is also why Kouka wants to become a picture book author. She hopes her brother will return after he fulfills his dream.

townspeople and shops

Charles coordinates affairs but often plays around, while his assistant Cador handles miscellaneous tasks. Karla and Amal are neighbors and do not get along with Kadol. Blanche runs a similar clinic, while Sfee runs a stationery store but often naps during naps; Chimi, who dislikes humans, likes books.

Four branches of themes

The official website divides the route into Rin arc "Meguru Haruiro," Harti arc "Summer Night's Shadow Wolf," Amal arc "Praying Spun Autumn," and Jack arc "Winter Happiness." The Lin chapter discusses the gap in lifespan between humans and living beings, while the Hati chapter centers on beast attacks and questions about identity; The last two introductory images only have the word 'Preparation Zhong'. Some branches include romance elements, but the theme is not simply romance with the characters.

Songs and production

Akira Kirigita was responsible for the script and script programming, Mikato Fuyuzora illustrated the key art, and Pujia8 Studio handled the Chinese localization. The theme song "The Town Where the Mysterious Lives" was written by Akira Kirishita, composed by G-MIYA, and performed by B; The ending theme of the Rin chapter, "Hajimari no Uta," was arranged and composed by B, mixed by qurter, and played guitar by F.E.L.
