Differences between inclusion and edition
PSP Visual Sound Novel combines short text text, Goto P illustrations, radio drama sounds, and main music for fixed episodes. If both volumes are sold separately, playback function patches must be installed separately.
Chapter playback and redirects
After selecting a short story, sound, text, and illustrations play in a fixed order, with no route options. Each article is further divided into multiple chapters. You can select specific scenes from chapters or use the L and R keys to jump to previous or later chapters.
A patch was released in 2010
A feature patch released on September 2, 2010, added fast-forward and rewind. Volumes must be updated separately; After installation, fast-forward right with the D-pad and rewind left.
First press CD included
The first edition of the first edition of the UMD product comes with a summary CD of the second volume.
The sources of the short stories and the content of the previous volume
This set of sixteen spin-offs was written by the four original authors of CLANNAD for Dengeki G's magazine. The first volume of the PSP includes the first eight stories, from Nagisa's return to school after illness, Childe observing Fuuko's academic progress, to the lives of the Fujibayashi sisters, Tomoyo, Mei, Botan, and Aki. Illustrations by GotoP, audio retained from the radio drama.
