Accidentally entering the journey

The story begins on a hot summer evening. Trains travel freely between nights, taking the brothers to unfamiliar places; The ticket was stolen by a man known as the Ticket Thief, changing what was originally an ordinary journey home.

The reunion of the children

After the ticket is stolen, the brothers reunite with their childhood friend Chinatsu. The work places "forgetting" and "remembering" at the heart of the journey, with characters facing not only the next stop but also their relationship with the past.

Otherworldly locations

Carisa-no-Machi is a market district shimmering with lights; The crossroads of fireflies float with restless fireflies; The alley maze is a residential street empty under the setting sun. Each of the three locations in the author's profile has a different scene, forming the space for train travel.

Creative direction

The publisher, Meme / くらやみ Yokocho, introduces the work as a nostalgic fantasy with a children's literature atmosphere. Its publicly available creator profiles also list "hidden otherworlds in everyday life" as the theme of illustration, novels, and visual novels.
