Vocal production for the 120 yen series
Composed vocal pieces for Jin Fujima's '120 Yen Spring' and '120 Yen Winter.' The vocal catalog also assigned him arrangements for spring and summer pieces; The composer of Xiaqu is Ebi (SoundUnion).
Early song sound conception
"120 Yen Spring" was basically written before Fujima's one-month trip to South America and completed upon returning home; He created with a bossa nova vibe, and when listening back, he still recognized his state before the trip.
During the recording of "Spring Breeze," Fujima struck the loudspeaker due to lack of percussion instruments to place the sound in the latter half; He also used pachika, which he had just learned at the time, to supplement the rhythm.
Melody and arrangement of Yume no Tsuki
The opening theme song "Yume no Tsuki" from the PS2 "Kitoru" was commissioned to continue the atmosphere of Nakauematsu's adaptation of "Greensleeves" from the PC version, with an original song written separately. From the start, Fujima considered KAKO singing, hoping the melody would be varied yet naturally accessible; Section B was rewritten several times due to excessive discrepancies and disrupting flow direction. He remembered composing the piece in about three days, and after finishing the melody, the arrangement went relatively smoothly.
"Yume no Tsuki" was written in Fujima's early days when he began composing guitar and soundtracks. He only uses the necessary instruments; Fujita, who was in charge of mixing, was once troubled by the lack of chord instruments.
Zero-ignition vocal discussion
According to Mao Uesugi's recollection, during the recording of "Zero・Ignition," Jin Fujima respected the direction of her vocal style and proposed other perspectives, working with her to determine the performance.
The formation of the opening melody
Jin Fujima recalled the production of the new ASDVD opening theme and said that the final melody was hummed while taking a shower. Once this direction is confirmed, the song is completed relatively quickly.
Arrangement of two hometown songs from RiSE
According to Hiromi Sato's 2012 recollection, after receiving an invitation from NHK's reporters, she and Hitoshi Fujima referenced each other's footage to compose the score for 'Kirikiri Chikoku no Komullaba' from their solo album 'RiSE'; The song was then recorded seamlessly with guitar playing and singing.
When adapting 'Hyokkori Hyotan Island' for the same edition, Fujima requested to retain familiar parts while also reflecting the new arrangement. Sato recalls that he compared photos before and after the earthquake, preserving the classic brass lines and jazz swing elements, while adding water sounds suitable for children.
