After inheriting the 9029
Asako Kusakabe officially designated Yuji as her successor, and the handover of the codename marked a new stage in her life. The story continues from this point, filling in some unexplored experiences in "Grey Labyrinth." Compared to the daily life on the Mihama campus, this story mainly focuses on Yuuji's journey to the outside world.
Position in the extra
The official title is called the second side story of 'Labyrinth' and is listed as the final of the three side stories. Like "Grey Remnants," it is narrative-driven, with the experiences complementing each other. The publisher recommends reading "Grey Labyrinth" to understand the character relationships and the background of code name handovers.
The original form of a complimentary gift
The work was previously offered as a bonus with Frontwing's 'Katsutsu Kototo Naki Mirai Yori', and was later released independently as 'The Melody of Grisaia'. The bonus product belongs to a different series than the story series: it comes with another game and does not mean Yuji entered the world of that work. The carrier corresponding to each issuance date should also be listed separately.
Protected objects and command chains
The American escort mission for "Melody" involves nine-year-old Marion Garland, daughter of accountant Timothy Garland, who is protected due to her witness family status. Major Isabella Fitzgerald was Yuji's superior officer on this mission.
Added protagonist voice lines in the Vita version
The original Windows bonus version of "Melody" had no voice acting for Xiong Er. PS Vita's "SIDE EPISODE" adds Takahiro Sakurai's performance for this episode, making all three episodes fully voiced; This difference is a port; the original Windows dubbing should be recorded separately.
