After the welcome party for episode 3 of 'Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge,' Mao asked Koichi to escort Yumi home while she returned alone.
In episode 4 of "Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge," Moo urges Koichi to approach Yumi proactively. Koichi was then entrusted with writing the script for the next film from the Film Research Department, and soon made up his mind to strike up a conversation with Yumi.
In episode 7 of "Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge," the Film Research Club resumed activities and decided to use the love story jointly organized by Koichi and Yumi as the synopsis for the school festival film.
At the school swimming party in episode 9 of 'Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge,' Koichi and Ikki try to invite a girl to act in a movie, following Hiiragi's idea. After Kei Kurio reminded them, the two focused on the match.
In episode 15 of "Pure Rouge," Yumi was unaccustomed to acting, and filming was not going smoothly. Koichi and Yumi went to the Sanada family and again asked Mao to play the female lead. After Mao made her condition, she agreed.
