Two songs by Uphill Typhoon Portable
During the recording of the opening 'Koi no Rock'n Roll Beat' and the ending 'Love is This Light' for the 2011 PSP version of 'Uphill Typhoon Portable,' Emiri Kato basically kept singing, only stopping when adjusting equipment. She recalled that recording this way was very enjoyable and helped her maintain the song's atmosphere.
The recording of the ending credits "Love is Such Light" is arranged after the main dialogue is recorded. Kato felt that the scenes he had already performed allowed him to put Rin's feelings into the song.
The opening title, 'Love Rock'n Roll Beat,' demands a sense of immediacy. Kato imagined the concert scene and sought ways to sing the song together with everyone.
LOVE ChuChu: Internet slang turned into sound
When Emiri Kato plays Erin, she deliberately uses a distinctive animation character-like portrayal to respond to the positioning of "a character within the two dimensions." She believes that speaking internet slang that you usually read on a screen is not easy, and she hopes the sound can match the impression players have when they see these words.
