From design learning to music composition
During university, Triodust was introduced to Japan's NicoNico Vocaloid creative scene, and after hearing AVTechNO!'s music, they began producing their own music.
He studied design, and several senior students worked in animation. When they were looking for someone who could write music, they invited him to contribute to the score.
In a 2021 Q&A, Triodust explained that when accepting work, she valued whether she could spark interest in the subject and imagine what sounds the world of the work might be.
Teamwork and choral recording at Bridge of Soul
When "OPUS: Bridge of Souls" was launched, Triodust joined SIGONO as a full-time sound designer. He used the example of artwork inspiring music, and music inspiring new artworks, to explain the interaction between sound and painting in long-term collaborative creation.
For the chorus in the original soundtrack of "OPUS: Bridge of Souls," Triodust borrowed a company meeting room and invited all colleagues to record together, responding to the script's needs.
Environmental sampling and vocal processing
When Triodust introduced his sound experiments in 2017, he explained that he samples ambient sounds as beats or timbres, and also reverses and chops vocals for music, experimenting with new sounds by altering existing material.
Leave room for video editing
When working on video scores with existing scripts, Triodust first drafts the music according to the script, then collaborates with the video team. He leaves room for adjustment in the music, allowing the editors to fine-tune the rhythm between shots.
