An unfamiliar room on the train
The boy had originally just taken a bus to the countryside, but when he woke up, his room was different from an ordinary carriage. Despite the unusual environment, he could still sense a certain familiarity wherever he went. The monsters that appear during the journey act as guides, and exploration gradually begins by observing these spaces and interacting with their residents.
Explore rather than survive challenges
The author positions the work as an exploration, puzzle-solving adventure, and clearly states that there are no horror elements. The game is relatively difficult, expected to take about an hour, with only one ending and no game-ending penalty. These arrangements allow players to focus on finding ways forward and understanding the scenery along the way, without repeatedly trying survival routes.
Production and form
The game was developed using WOLF RPG Editor and released for Windows, with the official website using a Japanese style as the label. The author also notes that this work pays tribute to the theater troupe Shonen Kingkan. Trains, tatami mats, and monsters together form the stage, rather than focusing on a typical railway simulation.
An unusual space inside the train
The boy and his father take a train to the countryside. After wandering alone in another carriage, he wakes up to find himself lying in a tatami room. The room still moves, a yokai guides him, and the journey shifts from a daily train to a strange space.
Explore structure
Created with WOLF RPG Editor, playable for about one hour. The story has only one ending, no Game Over, and the author classifies it as a low-difficulty, non-horror work, with a note as a tribute to the theater troupe Shonen Ojakan.
Version and author statement
The official website updated to version 1.06 on August 24, 2013. The author does not have a license for open translation and states that the circulating translation is not authorized.
