Mocheng at the end of the century
The story begins on December 13, 1999. Cheng Feng carries a letter that evokes strange memories by car back to his hometown, his personal diary recording his past, while the people and voices that repeatedly appear in his dreams remain hard to explain. After transferring, he gradually opens up to new and old friends, and as Christmas approaches, the case changes his daily life.
Old friends and the detective club
Qianxue was Cheng Feng's friend from his youth and reunited with him through the back gate of the school; The mysterious boy Fei appears in his dream, connected to unclear past events. Mystery-loving Zhang Yuanxin and childhood friend Xia Lu join the detective club, while Han Feng and Bai Xiaoying enter their lives through their respective relationships. Cheng Feng's understanding of the incident gradually fills in through interactions and memories.
A suspenseful novel with thirteen chapters
The full version is organized into Overture to Chapter XIII. Case investigations, campus interactions, and memories from three years ago intertwine; personal wishes and choices form clues running through different characters. It presents the ensemble through a textual adventure approach, focusing on reinterpreting events as the narrative progresses, rather than creating separate action or combat systems.
