The starting point of the story
After the amnesiac protagonist enters Ashford Academy, he receives help from Lelouch and student council president Milei. Campus interactions and actions among various factions form different story routes, involving the school festival, Geass abilities, and battles, with more than twenty possible endings.
PS2 vs. PSP route
Both versions share four types of storylines, each featuring an exclusive route. The PS2 Blue Moon arc revolves around the legend of the full moon confession at the academy chapel, focusing on romantic events; The PSP's Japan Liberation Front arc has the protagonist defy Zero's orders and instead act alongside Toudou and others. The latter also included figures from Kyoto such as Kaguraya and Kirihara.
Performances and additional features
More than forty characters appear, all performed with full voice acting. The game features newly drawn characters and event images by the TV animation team, as well as new animations. PS2 also features a theater mode, allowing you to combine already seen event scenes, voice acting, and background music to arrange character dialogue as you like.
Release version
The PS2 and PSP versions were released simultaneously on March 27, 2008. The PSP exclusive version comes with UMD footage from 'BLACK REBELLION,' and the 25 episodes of the first season of the TV anime have been re-edited into a special episode. The official announcement also revealed a budget version of the PSP the Best, with a release planned for December 3, 2009.
