From student teams to commercial production
Tiandu recalls that ASaProject was established with partners during university, moving from distributor contacts on Comic Market to commercial production. After graduation, funding and employment issues forced the team to choose whether to stay, and they accepted an invitation from HOOKSOFT to join the group.
Learning planning methods
From the second installment onward, Akira Asami explained planning, production, and presentation to Tento. Tiandu said that after the third installment, "Acchimuite Koi," implemented these methods, sales increased.
PSP supplementation plan and script handover
During the production of the 2013 film "Love 0 Kilometer Portable," Alchemist first proposed new characters and supporting role upgrades, and ASaProject agreed on the direction during meetings. Both sides use family themes and blending into the original world as constraints to supplement the scene.
The supplementary outline for "Love 0 Kilometer Portable" is written by Tiandu with extensive character dialogue to convey vivid scenes. Alchemist would turn the outline into a script for the planning studio, and ASaProject wouldn't need major revisions after accepting the draft.
When revising lines in "Love 0 Kilometer Portable," Alchemist tried to retain the original comedic tone as much as possible. Gu recalled that simply cutting some lines would disrupt the coherence of the lines, so the writing style needs to be reconsidered.
Character PVs are linked with the store
ASaProject submitted character introduction PVs for "Love 0 Kilometer Portable." Alchemist accepted multiple proposals, then commissioned other production staff to complete them, arranging weekly information and the order of new PV releases. Alchemist proposed that ASaProject would also send back menu and other content when collaborating with Mononopu restaurants.
PSP packaging and pre-order bonuses
The standard edition packaging of "Love 0 Kilometer Portable" first confirms Sakuya and Misaki, while the limited edition features Meru and Hana to balance new characters and original characters; Alchemist repeatedly requested adjustments to the angle of Hua's legs and negotiated the extent of the pleat. The reserved magnetic photo frame was selected from the bonus samples, and an SD image of her mother, Nozomi, was added to show the family reunion.
