Only artists who accept specific commissions
There is a rumor circulating online about a mysterious painter: she does not take orders for money or power, but only accepts commissions she is willing to handle. The visitor sees Lilua with silver hair and gem-like eyes, but cannot see the world before them. The materials she needed for painting thus came not only from her vision but also from understanding the experiences of others.
The light that Xia Xia brought back
Xia Xia lives at Liluya's home, running around to investigate on her behalf, describing what she sees based on her intuition and feelings. Lilua then transformed these descriptions into paintings. The assistant's expression may not be as precise as a report; their collaboration relies precisely on this different way of observing and understanding; Each commission gradually forced them to confront their own past wounds.
Production and theme
Yō Asō was responsible for planning and scripts, Kitsu handled character design and key animation, and Sei Ase was responsible for the music. Chiyo Takayanagi voices Lilua Merry, and Yurie Ikoma voices Natsuka Utsuki. The work connects different characters through commissions, centering on the relationship between loss and rebuilding life and the two main characters.
Entrusting people and old friends
Haruhi Eyu, who is about to get married, asks Lilua to draw the station she used daily during high school, to preserve memories of their past life. Mariko and Miyako are twins; the younger sister suffered facial injuries in an accident, and Yoshino, who protected her, lost her life. The two came to the villa to recuperate, becoming another experience behind the commission.
Helpers by your side
Although Xia Xia is often mistaken for a child due to her appearance, she is actually an adult and is responsible for handling investigations on behalf of Liluya. Apartment manager Mahiru is hired to protect the artist; Lilo manages the Merry family's painting vault and lives in an annex. Actor Tozukiya and Antero V Research Japan researcher Yi Mai also joined this character network.
Two songs
The opening theme "Ashita no Tata" was performed and written by Ginagi Yanagi, with arrangement by Tansa; The ending theme "Colors of You" was sung, written, and composed by Hina Aoki, with arrangements by YOUSAY. The game was released for Windows on July 25, 2024, offering Japanese, English, and Chinese Simplified text.
