Living in a foreign land

He Yucheng reunites with his high school friend Wan Zijin. Wan Zijin runs Wanxin Textile, and her daughter Wan Yuqing and He Yucheng, who came to their home, initially have a tense relationship. He Yucheng once hoped to enter seminary, but the setbacks of reality and his faith constituted a conflict between him and his new life.

School and family

Wan Yuqing's friend Melati is a local girl; Miao Pinhong served as their class mentor, hoping to address educational issues in a gentle way. As He Yucheng interacted with people from different backgrounds, he gradually came into contact with the interests of the school, family, and factory.

Voice of the character

He Yucheng is voiced by Huang Tianyou, Wan Zijin by Li Jingtang, Wan Yuqing by Xu Shupin, Melati by Lin Meixiu, and Miao Pinhong by Qian Xinyu. The production team's release announcement also mentioned collaboration with American studios and invited NTU Card Comic Society to participate.

Division of creative labor

Li Chushou was responsible for general coordination and planning, Kenji Kirishima supervised, with Katsumori and Inaba Karasu handling the script, and Hakureiko and Araha Arahi handling the key animation. Waiting to participate in music, with a window responsible for the program.

Volume 1 and Derivative Reading

At launch, there were both a regular edition and a limited first edition, with exclusive content including a Yuqing metal keychain and a drama broadcast. On September 17 of the same year, Sharp Point published the novel "May Jasmine: The Wheel of Fortune," credited by Keisen and illustrated by Bai Lingzi, telling the story of different characters centered around the experiences of the same event. The novel, radio drama, and the first episode of the game are different carriers.

Teacher Miao's request and the father-daughter dispute

He Yucheng originally had no intention of interfering in Yuqing's affairs, but only approached her at Miao Pinhong's request. When Wan Zijin denounced Teacher Miao, He Yucheng argued with his friend. After her father hit her, Yuqing questioned him: Can material support replace true love; He Yucheng's arrival also made her even more worried about losing her father's limited companionship.

Melati's hair accessory

Yuqing fears being rejected if she gets close to others, but Melati is her friend with whom she can communicate on equal footing. The escape during the anti-Chinese riots separated the two; After witnessing Melati's murder, Yuqing took off her friend's hair accessory, hoping to continue her dream.

Survival from two perspectives

He Yucheng prayed repeatedly while being chased and fleeing, but could not escape danger and ultimately chose to save himself. Yuqing also reconsiders the justice she believes in during her escape. The game first unfolds from He Yucheng's perspective, then unlocks Yuqing's perspective. Only after clearing both routes can you freely choose to replay.

The early conclusion of the return to Taiwan for a hospital visit

If He Yucheng answered his mother's call, he would return to Taiwan to visit his sick mother, avoiding the subsequent anti-Chinese riots, ending the story early. If they choose not to answer the phone, they will continue to stay in Indonesia to face subsequent events.

Production of the theme song

The theme song for Episode 01, "Stitched Jasmine," was written, composed, arranged, and mixed by Waiting@H&D, performed by Zheng, and recorded by Ultraviolet Studio. The song was used in the opening video released in 2015, and Waiting@H&D credited the game's music in the film's credits.
