Look for club activities
Mitsuru Matsushima takes a central position in this story, seeking advice from Sachi and her friends to try to find suitable new club activities. What seems like a simple decision becomes complicated through the clash of personalities, and the story's fun mainly comes from the interactions and misunderstandings among classmates.
A daily profile of Mihama
The work continues to use the character relationships from Mihama Gakuen and "Gray Fruit," but focuses attention on the small details of campus life. Familiar characters show another side in segments without the pressure of a long-form main storyline, while the short film uses group interactions to create a relaxed comedic rhythm.
Includes gifts and independent issuance
This story was originally offered as a bonus game with the first edition of the third volume of the Blu-ray/DVD anime "Gray Paradise," featuring CG drawn for the short story. The later Steam version translated it into English and released it independently, moving away from the original DVD bonus format. It is a series spin-off, not a gamification of the third episode of the anime.
The relationship with two supplementary stories from the past
The official side story compilations set "Idle" as a campus comedy centered around club activities by girls like Man and Sachi when Yuuji is absent. "Afterglow" then supplements Yuji's life after being rescued by Mazi, while "Melody" continues from officially inheriting 9029 and continuing external missions; Three stories use the same series of characters but focus on different life stages.
