He attacked the caravan to save children trafficked by a slave caravan, duel bodyguard Bai Mu Xiang Chun, but the ship was blown up, causing the rescue operation to fail. Later, as the former president of the imprisoned Kalewa, he becomes the target of Rika's investigation of her father's killer and Enzo's prison raid plan.
