Voices Tsumugi in 'Song of Sowing.'
Yukimi Hayase originally wanted to portray Tsumugi's dominance toward Yoko in "Song of Sowing," while preserving the subtle emotions in her lines. Kazuki repeatedly requested a more natural tone, and finally decided to use a tone closer to her usual speaking style.
When performing Tsumugi in "The Song of Sowing," Hayase considered that Misuzu, who was also 16 years old, was both a mother and had not yet become one. She incorporated the initial conflicts of the journey and the gradual changes in their interactions as Misuzu, allowing the characters' relationships to unfold along the journey.
The first impression of the audition script changes
When Yukimi Hayase first saw Tsumugi's brightly colored hair illustration, she imagined her as a gyaru type; After reading the audition script, my impression shifted to someone who could clearly convey their ideas to others. The lines made her feel as if she were speaking to herself, even though she thought their personalities were different.
Practice lines before recording
Yukimi Hayase practices lines from "The Song of Sowing" in a karaoke room, stopping to rest when she gets excited. During the official performance, she responded to Kazuki's request for a natural tone, gradually restraining Tsumugi's voice to a state closer to her usual speaking state.
