Terra and anomalous energy
The protagonist suddenly arrives in Terra, a world powered by magic crystals. Knight Leanna was originally investigating rumors of energy concentration somewhere, but discovered that the energy was coming from him. The two of them searched for the cause together and gradually realized that this visit was not simply a coincidence.
Fellow Figures and Performances
The main characters include Leanna Dawn, Kara Noir, Amelia Estelle, and Zack Spade, voiced by Amanda Lee, Amber Lee Connors, Natalie Hoover, and Nathan Sharp, respectively. Not only do the main teams use English voices, but supporting characters also have voiceovers.
Choices and relationships
The work uses numerous options to determine interactions and branches, with the protagonist's actions continuously influencing the attitudes of their companions. Friendship and romantic development are presented separately, with romantic connections centered around a specific individual. Characters use Live2D to express expressions and body movements; Brian Tsui's production notes list character binding and animation, as well as drawing materials provided by Sunimu.
Theme song and release
In addition to voicing Leanna, AmaLee also participated in the theme song 'Crystal Skies.' The Kickstarter project received 964 supporters and raised 69,699 Canadian dollars, with the official PC version released on August 22, 2018. The official website also lists entry points for Android and iOS versions.
Discontinued
PixelFade later announced the end of operations, stating that the game would gradually be discontinued, and existing buyers could still download and play from the platform's game library. As of September 2026, Crystalline's Steam product page shows that sales have been discontinued.
