Hoshimi Hira's encounter
Keito lost his parents at a young age and was brought in seven years ago by his uncle Kagimura Natsuna, who is not related by blood. Although he had close people around him, he still felt distant from his surroundings and often used astronomy and the starry sky to express his thoughts. The old observatory on the hill of Hoshimihira is where he and Shinto met.
Amnesiac visitors
Makoto said he crossed seven seas to come here, searching for something, but couldn't clearly recall more experiences. She speaks gently and quickly becomes familiar with people, while still retaining an inexplicable sense of mystery. To wait for her memory to return, she temporarily stayed at Huidou's family, changing the familiar daily routine of her family.
The Kagimura family
Shumei's wife passed away ten years ago, and since then he has raised the twins alone, adopting Keito seven years ago. His older brother Kuya sees himself as both Keito's rival and friend, working in a drama club with only two members; His younger sister Toyo enjoys painting and gaming, often taking the initiative to invite Keito to events. Cohabitation without blood ties is an important backdrop for the work's discussion of loneliness and closeness.
Classmates and the small town
Shidehara Ryuka has known Keito since her first year of high school and is a lively, attentive class president. She comes from a family of the old shrine in town and also helps manage shrine affairs. Library committee member Shiori Unno is a first-year student, solitary, sharp-tongued, and sees the world as illusion; The two approach Keito with different attitudes.
