Production and performance
Hiromu Mineta was credited as the voice actor for the character in '100-Day Battle: Final Defense Academy.'
Prepare the character at the location of the scene
When preparing for the performance of Kou Okita for 'Shinjuku Rashomon,' Hiromu Mineta actually walked to Shinjuku, observed the alleys around Kabukicho, and considered where the film's setting might be located. He brought a real sense of the street atmosphere into the recording, making the scene more concrete.
Starting points are kept between different routes
In each route, Kou's growth style and distance from others vary. Mineta keeps a neutral initial state in his mind, so that when he records another route, he returns to the starting point, and gradually changes his character's portrayal as he interacts along that route.
Maintain the momentum of the initial response
Mineta noticed that over-studying the script might cause him to fix his lines too early and lose the momentum he had when he first encountered the script. Therefore, when playing Guang, he values the protagonist's instant responses to the feelings of those around him, as well as the changes that affect their interactions.
