Passing by to observe the tomb procession
After his mother passed away, Kei Hato learned during the estate process that his father's hometown still existed. She used her summer vacation to visit her birthplace, Jingguanzhong, and along the way, repeatedly dreamed of a young girl and a flock of blue butterflies. Her father's early death, memories in dreams, and the blood of osmanthus are all connected to this journey home.
The person and the ghost they meet
At the old house, Katsura meets Kuzu Wakasugi, who lives with a white foxtail flower, and is also cared for by his mother's old friend Sakuya Asama. Senba Uzuki, carrying an ancient sword, arrives on the same train as Katsura, while in her dream, Yumei faces off against the twin demons who control the dream. The characters share both old ties and new connections centered around Gui's situation.
Branches and endings
Choose to change the story's direction, leading to ordinary, bad, and true endings. Branch diagrams are used to view the reading process. The work combines the relationship between vampires and young girls, as well as the legendary boundary between humans and ghosts; Mysteries about bloodlines and memories unfold along different routes.
HD version
SUCCESS launched HD REMASTER on Switch and Steam on May 25, 2023, retaining the original voice acting and songs, and offering Japanese, English, Chinese Simplified, and Traditional Chinese. The Switch also has a special edition bundled with "Qingcheng," which includes both games along with remastered music, radio dramas, and other accessories.
