When MELL produced his 2010 solo album "MIRAGE," he hoped to shift from the loneliness and solitude of his previous work to love, care, and heartbeat, lightening the heaviness of the songs.
She positioned "Love Illusion" as a sequel to "Snow of the Desert": "Snow of the Desert" depicts a woman in unrequited love, while "Love Illusion" shifts to the story of their union several years later.
String addition to Mirage
"Mirage" initially leaned more toward rock and had no plans to include strings. Kazuya Takase added strings during the completion phase; MELL recalls that this made her feel the song was finally finished.
MY PRECIOUS's writing source
MELL wrote the feelings she received from overseas performances into "MY PRECIOUS," expressing gratitude to her supporters through songs and conveying the idea that everyone should cherish their own existence.
