Truth Unveiled Chapter
On day 31 of the Truth Reveal arc, NIGOU becomes the target of Hiruko's proposal to dismantle the story for investigation because he cannot explain Takumi and Iver's abnormalities. After the choice to allow destruction was made, Iver stopped the action.
On the 56th day, when Aotsuki attacked SIREI, NIGOU stood in front of SIREI and died. This protection took place during the dispute over the artificial celestial body contact in the Truth Clarification Arc.
