The siblings' summer
In Rin's memories, her brother was silent and would argue with her when she was in a good mood. But Mingfan in front of him could only sit on his hospital bed and look out the window. Juxtaposed with the conflicts from their past shared life with the limited time they have now, Rin must re-examine her relationship with her brother.
Family and dreams
Rin always compared herself to her outstanding older brother, and after their parents were gone, she took on the housework. Mingfan attended a music university, hoping to become a composer, and practiced the flute for a long time. After his wife Hisako passed away, his grandfather Jiro farmed alone and encouraged Rin to find a goal based on his life experience.
Dr. Kamiya and the prequel
Meifan's attending physician, Kenichi Kamiya, works at the Yunagu Workers' Accident Hospital and has also experienced the death of his lover. P.O.L.C.'s other work, 'Asuka - Kimi wo Suketitone no Tamashimi,' sets the story back ten years, focusing on Kamiya and forming a connection between the same character.
