In episode 12 of the 2005 TV anime, Mumi sees Takaki getting close to Sango but struggles to express his feelings. At one point, encouraged by Tamaki, she approached Kimei proactively, but later avoided him after seeing him walking with the Princess Baihe sisters, confiding her troubles to Tamaki.
2005 Animation: Advancement News in the Deadlock
In episode 13 of the 2005 TV anime, Kimi and Takaaki were still stuck in a deadlock, making it difficult to communicate. Upon learning that further education might take him far away, Kimaki heard Tamaki's warning about parting after graduation and came to tell Mumi about it.
