Impressions of the work and her own voice
Konomi Suzuki listened repeatedly to Lia's songs to record the song "Arkatel." She hopes to preserve the impression of Key music while avoiding mere imitation, repeatedly seeking a balance between the temperament of her work and her own voice.
The singer's expression was discovered
In a 2019 interview, Suzuki recalled that this song allowed her to express calmer, softer songs, expanding her previous more upbeat vocal style.
Original piece concept and piano opening
When Orito wrote the original 2018 theme song, he focused on nostalgia, a sense of speed, and a slightly fantastical atmosphere. The piece originally had no piano introduction; this section was added only after Baba requested a piano opening.
