A boy who cannot be easily touched
The protagonist, Yu Ichinose, possesses a special ability related to touch: what flows toward the other person is his own emotions. Such experiences affect his distance from others and make solitude a daily routine. Ability is not about reading others' thoughts; The story focuses on how unconcealed emotions enter between two people.
Meeting on the hospital rooftop
Yuu meets Mashiro Fuyutsuki on the hospital rooftop. The young woman suffers from heart disease and is polite to others, while the limited time she has left makes ordinary conversations and visits feel precious. Their relationship began with repeated meetings, and Yuu gradually opened up to her, a life that had been separated from the outside world.
Classmates and friends
Nonoka Miyashiro is a quiet transfer student. After becoming Yuu's friend, she also participates in visiting Mashiro's daily life. Class president Asahina Yui is concerned about Yuu's situation in the class, while classmate Rintaro Takagi has feelings for Nonoka. Friendship outside of romance means the protagonist's life is no longer just about solitude.
Scale of creation and reading
The script was written by Akise, with illustrations by Enki San, and Akarin participating in scriptwriting and programming. The author indicated a reading time of about six hours. The story advances through character interactions, emotional touch, and the limited time of summer.
