I am a shoujo manga artist

"I Am a Shōjo Mangaka" (オレは少女漫画カー) is a PSP adventure game developed by Giza10. Professional shoujo manga artist Kenji Kamio has faced consecutive serialization cuts, and his editor and sister Chika decides to package him as a "genius beautiful girl manga artist," bringing the pen name Ijuin Alice back into the spotlight.

A second chance for a cartoonist

Kenji attends the private Toji Academy and has always drawn shoujo manga under the name Alice Ijuin. Once hailed as a genius newcomer, he has now ended his serialization in the weekly magazine Comic Charm. But he still wanted to keep creating, so that student life coexisted with his manga work. Chika's promotional strategy was to have him wear women's clothing and use equipment to change his voice, reappearing as a beautiful girl author.

Creative goals and romance

Kenji hopes to become a "holistic manga artist" who is not limited by the categories of boys and girls, and who can engage all kinds of readers with his works. A comedy centered around serialization, editors, and companions unfolds from here. Chika Kamio is both family and editor, and her promotional plan directly changes Kenji's life; Characters like Feather Feather Hisui and Akizuki Rina form the circle of creators and campus figures around him.

Designed the manga cover himself

The cover design system allows players to create covers for the protagonist's comic by combining elements such as titles, characters, backgrounds, and borders. The covers created are not just on menus; they also appear in the books, street promotions, and animation-related scenes within the story, giving the protagonist's manga career a visible image.

Use your own images

The PSP version also allows you to place your own images in the Memory Stick's PICTURE catalog as cover design material. The official images indicate 176×240 pixel BMP or PNG resolution; Files that do not meet specifications will not appear in the user image list. Images can be stored via a computer card reader or transferred via USB connection to a PSP.
