When recording and singing "Reminiscence Scarlet," Sasaki could clearly imagine the scene from the lyrics written by others, and the recording ended smoothly. Practice of difficult pieces and vocal materials
Sayaka Sasaki recalled "Reason why XXX" by saying she practiced over a hundred times before recording, hoping to perform the full song live rather than relying solely on recording editing to solve the challenge.
While recording "DREAMLESS DIVER," she quickly completed the main theme and spent about four to five hours recording backing vocals, backing vocals, and other vocal material. This later enabled her to proactively propose the idea of layering vocals.
A selection of game songs for the 10th anniversary
The second album of "SAYABEST 2010-2020" mainly features popular game songs, while also retaining Sasaki's own choices. She especially wanted to include her early lyricist role in "Shooting the Future," when she conceived and expressed the story through her work.
Dialogue commissioning and recording
When writing the new song "Dialogue," Sasaki aimed to directly convey ten years of gratitude on stage and provided Kentaro Sonoda with a reference song for the direction of the sound, clearly explaining the message she hoped to convey.
This new song was performed and recorded with the participation of her live band members, and Sasaki recalled that it made her feel comfortable immersed in singing. The title combines log records, dialogs of dialogue, and diamonds to express the precious records left behind by joint activities.
