After the legend of Momotaro

The official ALcot story page opens with the familiar Momotaro tale: demons are defeated, and treasures are brought back. After many years, the phantom thief Wenluo claimed to be a descendant of demons, specializing in retrieving lost items and returning them to their original owners. The story thus extends the folk legend of "Oni and Momotaro" into a modern social mystery surrounding the ownership of secret treasures.

Keisuke's dual identity

Keisuke Urabe arrives at Onigashima Academy, built at the center of Onigashima, where he is the phantom thief Unra himself. Suddenly, a notice letter sent in Wenluo's name appears on the island, but Keisuke has never sent it; He must conceal his identity as a phantom thief while investigating the fake Wenluo and the target secret treasure. Student life during the day and investigative actions at night form a dual daily storyline.

A campus made up of legendary descendants

The girls in the academy each inherit the descendants of legendary figures such as Momotaro, Kintaro, Hichisun-boshi, and Otohime. After meeting them, Keisuke's old karmic connection with his ancestors enters contemporary campus life. The official overview calls the whole a modern fairy tale, focusing on how legendary relationships affect character interactions and how the mystery of the teaser letter disrupts the daily life of the school.
