Use and inclusion
Lyrics by Tako Yamaguchi (Crearts), composition and arrangement by Shouta Horie, credited to the anime version.
The connection between melody and lyric writing
In the release interview, Shota Horie said he first pushed the melody and arrangement to a certain level before handing over the lyrics to Tako Yamaguchi; If more suitable words or phrases appear, the melody can be adjusted accordingly. Such collaboration brings tension and character emotions into the song.
The vocal recording was completed by the singer
Araki explained that he independently completed the vocal recording and track delivery for this song, without having a separate recording engineer. After the producers provide materials and sample audio sources, he digests the content before performing it; Horie did not participate in the recording on site.
Voice and emotion
Horie wanted to maintain the series' tense atmosphere while boosting the heat of the anime songs. Araki sang sections A and B in a relatively deep tone, and faced with the detailed composition and high-pitched melody in the demo, she chose to enhance the emotional and human texture.
Details of the recording and singing plan for the 2025 animation opening
Shouta Horie once prepared to lower his tone when the singer suggested it; Araki did not submit it, so "ResoNAnce" retained the tone initially set during its creation.
Initially, recording was discussed for studio performance, but later the producers recognized Araki's existing equipment and long-term experience in self-recording, allowing him to complete the recording himself.
After Horie, Araki, and the production team discussed the song, there was no additional production meeting, and the recording was completed immediately.
